Influence of the seasonal employment on the quality of life of affected persons in the Český Krumlov region

The Český Krumlov region has long been one of the areas with the highest unemployment in the South Bohemian Region. People who practice professions in the region focused on tourism, construction, agriculture and forestry, etc., work from spring to autumn and in the winter are forced to interrupt the operation of their services and register with the employment office as job seekers. Seasonal unemployment is not considered as a serious problem as long-term unemployment, but due to changing cycles of seasons, it repeats every year, affects the same professions and people and causes the same problem every year - how to cope mainly from a financial point of view. For the above reasons, this bachelor thesis aims to find out what effect seasonal unemployment has on the quality of life of affected people in the Český Krumlov region. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, with the help of publications of professional literature and other sources, the basic characteristics of unemployment are specified in more detail, there is basic information about the Labor Office of the Czech Republic and its activities and the characteristics of the Český Krumlov district are described. The practical part analyzes the impact of seasonal unemployment on the affected persons in the Český Krumlov region. Part of the work is also my own research survey, which took place using in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The last part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the final evaluation and interpretation of the results, proposing the elimination of the number of unemployed persons in the Český Krumlov region in the winter and there is a conceptual and methodological proposal on how to work with seasonally unemployed applicants in the Český Krumlov region.
New forms of victimization in the Czech Republic: incidents at labour offices.

The aim of the theses is to elaborate on the problematics of theoretical aspects of victims of criminal acts. The work's main concern is the area of problematics of workplace victimization. This topic shall therefore be investigated deeply in the theoretical part of the theses as well. The practical part of the work will depict and process the specific characteristics of the mentioned problematics and in relation to it workplace victimization of employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau will be further looked on. In the theses we mention and define the basic terms connected to the chosen problematics. The aim of that is to point out their importance in relation to other disciplines, especially those which are related to victimological research and problematics of victims of criminal acts. Nowadays, the topic of workplace victimization, in other words victimization undergone when in work, is more and more frequently researched and looked up by laics, academic people and even the media. The dominant of the second part of the theses is a focus on employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau. In the work we analysed, from the data provided by the Bureau, the criminal or violent incidents which happened on the workplace there. Social Work from the Perspective of Selected Social Sorkers

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out, identify and describe how social workers perceive social work and how they realize it. The bachelor thesis focuses on officials at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic and on the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children. Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines social work, social worker and burnout syndrome. In the practical part, the main and partial research questions are answered: How do the officials of the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children and the Labor Office of the Czech Republic perceive social work? How do they perceive the work of a social worker in the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children? How do they perceive the work of a social worker at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic? The research was performed by qualitative research strategy, the method of questioning using the technique of semi-structured interview. The method of creating clusters was used for data analysis. The research files were selected intentionally and consist of three social workers from the Labor Office of the Czech Republic and three social workers from the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children. On the basis of the research, it was found that the social work performed at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic is completely different from the social work realized at the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The research points to overmuch administrative work especially on social workers at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the research shows that workers perceive their social work in a positive way, but they point to their dissatisfaction with the financial evaluation of this mentally demanding activity. It was also found that social workers of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic have more experience with burnout syndrome. The research results will be able possible to use by the executive of social workers at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic as well as the Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children as a topic for improving social work at individual departments.
Worker's procedures whilst carrying out social inquiries

This Bachelor's thesis attends to the procedures of social workers from the Labour Office of the Czech Republic when carrying out social inquiries (investigations) of non-insurance social and welfare benefits. The non-insurance social and welfare benefits, for which the inquiry is carried out, represents care allowance and financial hardship. The aim of the Bachelor's thesis is to map social inquiries carried out by employees of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. In order to ascertain the goals, research questions were used, which focused on the job centre's employees' procedures that are applied when carrying out social inquiries in the area of non-insurance social and welfare benefits. Another research question asked about the differences in social inquiries in the areas of individual non-insurance social and welfare benefits. The theoretical part is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter attends to definitions, aims and methods of social work. The second chapter attends to providing insights into a social worker's work content, its characteristics and competences. The next chapter deals with basic findings about the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. The following chapter includes information about a subsistence and existential minimum. The fifth chapter closer introduces the issue of the system of benefits under financial hardship and its distribution to individual allowances. The sixth chapter concerns care benefits and the last chapter characterises social inquiries, its specifics and content. For processing the empirical part of the Bachelor's thesis qualitative research was chosen. The method used for data collection was the questioning method, the technique of a semi-structured interview. The interviews were held with eight social workers from one branch of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. A closer specific was the uniform allocation of communicating partners between care benefit allowance and benefits provided under financial hardship. The acquired data was processed into individual clusters in order to make them more transparent. The research provided information on what documents employees abided by when carrying out social inquiries. Furthermore, the individual benefits provided under financial hardship and care benefits were compared. The empirical part describes how employees felt during the process, opinions on social inquiries and incentives for improving the methodology of the benefit system. The results of this work can be of help to students and other parties that take an interest in this issue. The work can also provide inspiration to individual specialists from the area of non-insurance social benefits at the Labour Office.

Care Contribution and Control of its Use

On January 1, 2007 there are drafting of new social benefits - care contribution. This benefit is defined by the low No. 108/2006 Coll., about social services. Making this law has brought in this area, many fundamental changes. Except that there was created a new conception of social services, their types, forms and conditions of the provision, but also introduced a new approach to finance for people in adverse social situation need help. To this time well improved allowance for the care of a relative or other person being replaced care contribution. It is conceived as a only one cash benefit social service system. It is called a subsidy on the head, the idea is the think that the person who needs care is financially at least to some extent independent and can have their choice needed service to "buy". The degree of dependence on the assistance of another person is determined in four levels - it should allow detailed, reliable and yet highly individual assessment of the needs of people. Main goal thesis was to explore experiences with inspections focusing on the use of contribution care, intermediate objectives were to identify the limits of process control from the view of social workers and detect the most common areas of deficiencies in the framework of implemented controls. Qualitative research was done by polling technique and for this reason was used semistructured interview. Concept of interview was based on six tematic parts. The data were collected from January to March 2016. The research group consisted of 10 social workers selected purposeful selecting at each contact point of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, Regional branch České Budějovice. The results of the work showed, the control of the use of care contribution are made regularly and all contact centers Labour Office under the same methodological instruction, it means, individual social workers follow the same process. Social workers are in the process of inspections limited mainly personnel, it means a shortage of staff the department of non-insurance social benefits, deciding on benefit care contribution. The work done feedback from the perform inspections control one of the non-insurance social benefit for care and can prompt discussion on possible subsequent modifications.

The goal of each country is saving money during crisis. One of the ways how to reach it is to reform the social system. In the Czech Republic there is now ongoing the Social Reform of non-insurance social benefits. The aim of this thesis was to explore the experience of officers, who works on non-insurance social benefits with the ongoing reform and social changes, what with the link of this reform occurred.On 1st January 2012 there was a merger of pay sites of state social support benefits, personal financial crisis benefits and benefits for people with disabilities. Decision and administration of these benefits from this date is made by one authority, which is the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. This step had carry on bring the possibility of more efficient management and administration of benefits and better controllability of funds. From 1st January 2012 can handle all services - both in the areas of mployment, state social support, assistance in personal financial crisis benefits for the people with disabilities through the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. Qualitative research was conducted by method of using the controllability interview. The concept of the interview was based on six topics. Collection data was ongiong in February and March 2014. The research sample consisted of nine officers of non-insurance social benefits selected purposeful selection at each office labor Czech Republic, the regional branch of the Ceske Budejovice. From the results of the work revealed, that individual officers still perceive in the reform rather disadvantages. Suggestions for improvement from his point of view doesn't have a range or they are only a small range. The biggest problem, what I see in the changes in the software, then in the creation and destruction subsequent of S-Card. Using of this card people should pay all non-insurance social benefits, in the future security and retirement benefits. Work have to feedback to the partial reform measures implemented in the context of payment non-insurance social benefits and can stimulate discussion on possible subsequent modifications.

The theme of the bachelor thesis is "Job Market and Unemployment in Strakonice County". Main goal of the thesis is targeting problems concerning unemployment and simultaneous procedure of seeking a new job at Strakonice County area. Theoretical section of the thesis is defining basic terms concerning unemployment, describing unemployment and its particular types. There is also present a brief survey of unemployment in the Czech Republic area. The theoretical section is also introducing government policy of unemployment and activities of the Czech Republic's Job center. The thesis also defines Strakonice County in geographical, demographical, and economy terms. Practical section of the bachelor thesis is conceived using results of quantitative research that was carried out with job applicants at The Czech Republic's Job Center at Strakonice point.
